If you get to see VINTAGE MOTORSPORT, the latest issue (arrived today) has a
nice article on the MID-OHIO event. Nice shots of the TR3As and Doug Karon's
AMBRO. The 'Pick of the Liter' was the whole British contingent. Deservedly
so. They even quoted Joe Alexander several times in the article.
Another super (and extensive) article is entitled the ROAR by the OCEAN,
which documents 'When sports car racing fever hit in the 1950s, Southern
California's Santa Barbara Road Races provided a wonderful cure....."
Fantastic pictures. Great shots of the 'Small-bore production based cars,
including one which may include Kas , as it shows a TR3A with a squared off
roll bar. Great article.
If you are not a subscriber, you may want to seek out this issue at your
local newsstand. It is 2002/6.
