Ian,

The FoT & VTR appreciates your comments. I certainly do.

The attendance of the eight cars and eleven drivers from the U.K. was a
highlight of our weekend, along with our Grand Marshall, Kas Kastner. It will
spawn several interesting magazine articles in the US, as well as Triumph
World in the UK.

The reconstruction of the TR5, overnight, is becoming a modern urban racing
legend as the story is passed around. The story was already at Road America
when I arrived there the following weekend. (Special thanks to Dr. John Lye
of the US for staying with the TR5 all night...and all others who helped)

Everyone was extremely pleased with the way the UK drivers acquitted
themselves and with the successes on the track.

Kas' appearance set the tone. This weekend was for & by the TR enthusiasts of
the past present and future. It will be discussed for years.

I have started some planning to make the trip to England, the summer of 2003.
It will have to be June, July, or August for me. Others have expressed an
interest in making the crossing, with race cars or street Triumphs. I hope we
will be well represented at one of youyr events.

Also, there might be a chance to have another "Reunion" at Mosport (Canada)
in July of 2004, if someone is interested in advancing that idea.

In closing, for now, I can honestly say that I have not enjoyed myself so
much in several years of Vintage Racing. SVRA and Mid-Ohio are still
getting very satisfying responses, per Carl Jensen, Competition Director.

We hope to see you next summer...until then,

Very Best regards from the FoT & VTR....
