soft mounts for SU's

If you would like to try John Haarkness' approach, which I think is a
good one, you can get rubber bushings and springs for the front side of
the carburetor from Dave Bean, supplier of Lotus parts, etc. These parts
were used on Jensen-Healeys with the Lotus engine and as of a couple of
years ago were still available.
