I thought about the Mallory dual point ignitions for some time , but ended
up with the pertronix .My theory was and is
that i do not want anything on my race car that i do not need . If i can
use electronic ignitions and they are reliable and simple
why not use it . Dual points to me seem like bouble the trouble. Now you
have (2) sets of points to worry about and fiddle with . The same holds
true with alternators ,and amp. gauges ect . If you are only going to race
the car you only need to have what is going help you get through the race .
All the other stuff only causes problems.
