This does bring to mind a completely weird occurrence at SIR last fall--a Formula Ford that usually pits with us was running in the middle of the pack when it suddenly coasted to a stop. After he was towed in and shed his suit he started looking for the problem. Which turned out to be--no distributor. I don't know how you actually lose one, but he didn't find it walking around the track during lunch. Might have been an early prototype. |
