As the VTR autocross advisor, I get asked about this starvation problem
once in a while, we even had it ourselves when we ran Pugs' bone stock
Mark 3 GT6 in an event or two.  Other than fiddling with the floats and
learning to live with it, not much you can do without carb mods.  Once in
a while I think about what it would take to use the various computer design
tools here at the U to come up with a larger, deep sump float bowl for the
150 CD carbs.  Yep, RealSoonNow...
