"They all do that". After much fiddling with float levels, I have pretty much given up. A higher volume pump helps in autox, since there's hope for the pump to refill the bowl after it got drained in a short sharp left turn, but there's no hope on the track, as far as I can tell. Ted Schumacher, Group44 must have run into this problem and fixed it, since I think the rules of the day required them to run the "stock" carbs. Or did they put HS4s on instead? |
