Subject: [Roadsters] 68 SPL fuel filter=20
Hey All,=20
been doing a little maintenance on my 68 SPL with a buddy, after looking th=
ings over he remarked that the fuel pump is going out and needs to be rebui=
lt or replaced. He based this on the filter only filling to just above the =
inlet/outlet level lets say 60% full.=20
As far as I remember this was that was it has always been and that you coul=
d see the pump pulsing the fuel into the filter. He says the filter should =
be completely full of fuel and we shouldn't see a pulsing action.=20
The filter is the stock one and it is clipped into the stock holding bracke=
t.=20
Let me know what you have seen or think about his assumptions.=20
Thanks=20
Matt=20
