Finally cleaned out the tank, had it boled, sealed and coated. You just wouldnt believe what the gas looked like when I took it out, painted and reinstalled now the fuel guage perpetually reads exactly half full. the float works smoothly, but it just does't register correctly. Please tell me I don't need to buy a new fuel sender unit.
