Well said. It's not "naive and misguided" it's "self centered coupled
with an overdeveloped sense of entitlement". Some of these people don't
CARE about the future of these cars. They only care about THEIR car and
what THEY get.
If they cared about the future of the cars, they'd support projects that
make previously unobtainable parts available... but they don't. In
fact, many try to subvert those very projects.
But hey, I'm the jerk who just points out this very glaringly obvious
fact, so what do I know? lol
