I'm using a 16" pusher, works very well. I had to make a new upper radiator
support and do some creative spacing. A 14" may work with less fabrication.
Ideally, the fan should be supported by something other than the radiator
core. The zip ties included go straight through the core and have the
potential for making a leak.
A thermostatic switch makes it easy. The fan rarely runs constantly, even
at idle in hot traffic.

Subject: [Roadsters] Electric Fan Question
I am thinking about changing to an electric fan on Mr. Hyde.
Looking through the wrecking yard this morning I found a number of likely
candidates but I have a question about push or pull fans. There is a lot of
room ahead of the radiator to install a push type radiator fan and I would
not need to look at modifying the water pump shaft. Is there any problem
with a push fan rather than a pull fan behind the radiator, which is what I
usually see?
What temperature should the fan temperature switch be if I mount it on the
thermostat cover where I already have an unsued threaded port for this
switch?
