i have a 14" Fluidyne puller. with no crank fan blade there is approx 1/2
clearance with the studs of the water pump pulley. my fan is on a switch, and
i turn it on when it gets above about 180, or when sitting in traffic.

Subject: [Roadsters] Electric Fan Question
I am thinking about changing to an electric fan on Mr. Hyde.
Looking through the wrecking yard this morning I found a number of likely
candidates but I have a question about push or pull fans. There is a lot of
room ahead of the radiator to install a push type radiator fan and I would
not need to look at modifying the water pump shaft. Is there any problem
with a push fan rather than a pull fan behind the radiator, which is what I
usually see?
What temperature should the fan temperature switch be if I mount it on the
thermostat cover where I already have an unsued threaded port for this
switch?
