Hi all.
This past summer I moved the alt on my 1600 to the passenger side. It works
great and I have had no problems, yet. I say yet as I am not happy with the
stability of the mounting I did. I think it is a matter of time before it fails
on me.
I would like to change the mount set up this winter. I used the smog pump
bracket as it was there and seemed to work just fine. What I am looking for is
a bracket I have seen on ebay a couple times and not been able to win. This
bracket has a longer nose on it than the smog pump bracket. Does any one know
where I can get one of these? (Is this bracket the original driver's side
bracket moved to the other side of the motor? It didn't look to me like it
would fit properly so I didn't try it.)
