Have my 68 mechanical tach set up and connected to the dash guage. I can hear and feel it turning in its housing but the tach needle does not move at all. Can hardly turn the cable end but had made fairly sure it was on tight before doing all the wire hookups. I am also pretty sure the tach worked before starting the vehicle restoration. Could I have lost a piece on one or the other end of the cable? NOt sure what it would be. Any thoughts out there? Larry. |
