Last Solvang I bought one of Francis Anand's billet aluminum water pump
pulleys. Of course I didn't immediately install it, instead I waited for
a reason to take the cooling system apart. Well, The opportunity arose
when the water pump started leaking.
I bought a new pump, but I thought, why put this gleaming pulley on a
plain-jane water pump. 3 hours of grinding, 4 hours of sanding and 15
minutes on the buffing wheel (that's about the standard ratio) and I had
a proper landscape for a custom pulley, a custom polished pump!
