You might just be surprised by how bad the roadster brakes can feel if the
rear drums are any more than 9.050 in diameter. 9.040 is the wear limit
iirc. If you've got spongy brakes, long pedal travel, etc. take a look at
the drum diameter before you go spending the big bucks.

It's funny- on the 2l, I always had decent brakes- good pedal feel,
no real fade, pretty linear.
The 1600 has always been spongy. Same stuff, same mechanic
(me) and new (teflon) lines on both.
