I bought a new set of tires and mounted them on my old wheels. The new tires are 55 series vs. the old 60 series and have just enough extra width in the sidewall bulge that the rears now rub. Any suggestions as to how to roll the fender lip up without destroying the paint? Someone suggested grinding it off just where it rubs, but I wanted to get the group's input before doing anything. Any suggestions? Pictures of the lip after it's done? Sincerely, Dave Driemeier 1970 2000 St. Louis, MO |
