| I'm drawing too much when my headlights are on in my 69 2000, which was
originally smogged (I think). I had the lights on in the fog last week and
it killed the battery so dead it wouldn't even power the fuel gauge, I
didn't notice the drop in the ammeter til the next time I had the lights on.
Anybody know if the 69 1600 alternator would work? (I have those on my parts
car-69 1600 smogged)  I don't see enough ID on the 69 parts to tell for
sure, on the parts manual at 311s.org it looks like the
23108-20113alternator  will work on either car, but I see the -20110 and
-20111 as well - I'm thinking the -20113 superseded those others? 
 
The voltage regulators seem to be different part numbers, so I assume they
won't swap?
 
Lastly, I looked at the alternator on the 1600, is it necessary to pull the
radiator to get the long bolt out?
