Can anyone tell me how the shaft with the two spider gears in the differential (1970 - SPL311 - 1600) is supposed to be secured? Chilton refers to the shaft as Differential Pinion. There are two flat spots on the shaft but no keeper slot or anything to keep the shaft from sliding out and getting chewed up by the main gear. Thanks, Girault Jones |
