RE: paint color

My 2 cents' worth... My last (as in no more) VW Bus was a pleasing 
blue and white. The engine, as is the case with all VWs, was black on 
black. Couldn't see a thing! At engine rebuild time, I stripped and 
painted (couldn't afford powder coating) all of the sheet metal the 
same blue as the body. Made all the difference in the world. For my 
money, only rubber parts should be black in the engine room.
