I had a similar experience a couple of weeks ago when I was bidding on a Lotus
Elise workshop manual CD. The seller actually had 3 copies but with each
auction finishing 2 days apart. All identically described and all starting at
$1. I put a maximum bid of $10 on the first one (if I end up buying an Elise it
will be worth it). Someone else came along and made 3 bids to beat my $10.
Two days later I bought the second manual for $1. No-one bid on the third.

Regards,
Phill Brook
