There are two studs from the bottom piece of the windshield frame that you
will find up near the wiper motor. They don't show in any of the parts
diagrams. A bit awkward to get at, but a 1/4" drive floppy on a long
extension makes it easier, if I remember right.

Try not to drop it.  ;-)
It's easier if you have a helper to steady it as you remove the bolts and
nuts, but it is possible to remove it by yourself.

Removing the center console makes it easier to get to all the gauges and
their wiring.

Label all the wires. They look obvious when you go to disconnect them, but
trust me, it'll get confusing when you go to hook them back up. Keep track
of the sequence of the toggle switches.

If you have any back problems (like I do), remove the seats to make it
easier to get under the dash.
