...and to add to that, my windshield seals are shot. Ideally, I would like
to remove the frame and have it rechromed, redo the dash, replace the dash
pad, but those are not in the budget (yet!).
Can the windshield seals be replaced properly without removing the frame, or
should I just pull the frame to also replace the frame-to-cowl gasket
(condition questionable)?
I figure to just take it to an auto glass shop. Should the windshield seal
be done w/ the frame on or off, or does it matter?

two questions - to remove the windshield it looks like there are two bolts
on each side inside the door jamb? any caveats to removing it?
at some point i'll have to redo the dashboard - it's metal and has surface
rust. take the crash pad off, remove the gages, and remove? anything else
i need to know?
