| I'm with Gordon on this one. I have a 67 1600 with SU's that had the exact problem. After fighting with the problem I replaced them with Ztherapy carbs and it idles VERY smooth. You may not have to replace the carbs as I did, but if they suck air at the shafts you will fight adjusting them forever.
