Engine Paint

Hey guys,

Understand that we are using a blue Chevy engine paint that is pretty close
for an engine paint color match for the early 1600's

Should the plate between the tranny & engine be painted with engine paint or
can we use normal temp paint?

I have one now bead -blasted ready for primer & paint & are looking for a
good process to use.
