Tranny Fluid Ques

Hi Gang,

Got a question from a local roadster owner that I can't answer so I thought
I'd pass it on to y'all. He's changing tranny fluid, drained the old stuff and
filled it to the bottom of the fill hole until it ran out and it only took
approx 1.5 qts rather than the over 2 qts or so the book says it should take.
Quess you know the question. Why? He says he's got it level. Any comments or
am I having a senior moment here.
