Dead Sleeping Beauty engine now resuscitated and alive and well; yellow
painting and replating done,....now dealing with trim assembly.. My
question== as hood closes,two plated studs with holes in the ends ( to receive
cotter-type clips) come thru two holes in the hood...Around each of these two
hood holes are sets of 4 smaller holes , maybe screw holes. What are these
for ? some sort of plastic washer or molding to protect the paint from
abrasion by the clips ? (non-existent as r'cd from PO..Thanks for help...
