Just get a good core and have it rechromed. There is a place up here in Fall 
River Mass that does incredible chrome work. Cost is about $200 for the bumper 
and $40 for each overider. They take out all bends and dents. They did chrome 
for me for 2  roadsters.(Well one and a half if I ever get the 2000 on the 
road)
