Roadster's in the garage.
Just completed engine/tranny reinstallation after clutch
replacement, tranny countershaft overhaul a week and a half ago,
but the weather has been so bad, I really haven't hardly had a
chance to enjoy it since. Only 108 miles on the odometer since I
got it , "back on the road".
After a great December until then, weather turned bad last
Sunday. Only one, half way decent, "beach day" since. Currently
68 degrees outside (house has no heating system). "High" temp.
yesterday was only 73, day before, only 81 (the "half way decent
beach day"). Torrents of rain, localized flooding. Two to three
foot snow drifts on Mauna Kea road above 13,000 foot level; road
was closed.
Worst stretch of winter weather, I've seen in 15 years. Tourists
in $200/night hotel rooms becoming sullen and "testy". This is a
"Pity the Poor Tourist" time.
California, and other West Coast. look out! I've noticed our bad
weather is usually there a week or less after we experience it.
Better days are coming...
