Hello all, Thanks for the rapid replys. Well I tore it apart. Turns out the mechanical advance was gummed up and stuck. We've had rain recently and really heavy dew in the mornings. The unusual moisture may have pushed it over the edge. Any way, I cleaned and relubed it and it works fine now. I've got several in the "waiting to rebuild" pile. I'll check with the dealer for base plates and stock up on a few. keith |
