re: Holes

I looked at my '67 1600 last night and, assuming no one (PO) has 
rerouted any of the major components, the center hole is the cowl 
drain and the other (1") hole is for the choke cables. Both cables 
exit through a single firewall grommet. 

If someone on the list can verify this, then you'll know what the 
holes are for and I'll know my '67 is correct in that regard.
