Well, I checked it out and 190 would be good for the old 2000, but 90 is
just plain lousy.
117,000 miles. I guess someone didn't change oil like he should have.
<gulp>
I have a friend who I think has access to a bore scope, so I can learn
the truth before I tear her down.
Anybody here think I can get away with new std rings/pistons (after
breaking the ridge)and reseating the valves plus new guides?
I have my fingers crossed that I don't have to bore her out or put in
bearings, but I already have plastigauge and I'll assume the bearings
need checking (gulp!) As long as I have her down, new chains and
gears..... I hope the bearings are OK. <cringe>
I'll do her right. I have the money, I have the skill, I can rebuild
her, she sure is pretty!
