Hello All,
Irene's jag with the 350/th350 combo has developed two strange running
quirks.
1. It only runs if you gas it. Trying to pull away from a stop slowly
stalls the car out every time. Irene has to floor it and then it stumbles
for a sec and then takes off. The car is running a carter four barrel carb
and I am thinking that the idle circuits are clogged? What do y'all think?
2. There is a strange shuddering on acceleration coming from somewhere that
might be in the vicinity of the torque converter. I am thinking loose
torque converter? The shuddering is not super consistent but usually
happens on acc not steady state driving or de-acceleration.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
