I read in a magazine that 1 mile of racing equals about 500 miles of street driving. The suspension was also not designed to use tires that are grippier than any racing tire was in the 1960s. You are placing more stress on your suspension/steering than it was designed for and as a result your suspension/steering parts are wearing out quicker. Racing is never cheap!!!
