On the other end of the spectrum, there's the Mustang. Parts easy
and cheap, value....well overvalued (IMO). The U20 is an orphan,
unfortunately. I suppose things would be a lot easier for the 2L
crowd if the L series engine were the standard fittment. The L
engines sure had a good run compared to the U.
Sometimes I thank my lucky pushrods i have a 1600.
Perhaps some clerver and opportunistic soul can start a 2L engine
swap business. Sell
SR20DET swap kits (Engines with only 32 K, of course) U20 core
exchange required. Corner the U20 spares market, and you got 'em
comin' and going.
