I had Libres on an early 240. I bought the wheels in fairly good shape for
40 for the set. Anyway, I had the centers glassbeaded and I polished the
rims. I thought they looked great that way. Being as you won't use the car
in salt  and snow I think with lite maintainence the wheels will look good
for quite a while w/o coating them.
