Weber carbs

I am thinking about putting Webers on my stroked 1600.  What size is
recommended?  I have seen both 40mm and 45mm written about, but which is best?
I will be installing a big cam, electronic distributor, lightened flywheel,
.020 over pistons, big valves in head, etc.
