Evening,
I was just sitting here yaking on Roger Wilco with some peeps from Canada,
Australia, and Texas. These guys happen to be on an internet game team with
me.
Then I was thinking that would be cool if Roadster people did that and just
that quick, I thought, noooo waaaaay would that ever work with a large group
and infinite subjects.
Okay, that was my aloud thoughts for the night.
Oh, other Roadster content: - I wacked of the nose of my early alternator
mount then drilled the hole out to 13/32" and slid a 6" long bolt that
diameter through the 7127 alternator ear and the mount. No washers needed,
just a little extra grinding on the mount while mounted to the block for belt
alignment. I had planned on letting the machine shop do it, but the $50.00
setup fee plus $50.00 an hour at possibly three to four hours changed my mind
and I bought a floor standing drill press that was on sale at Harbor freight.
And since the drill was cheaper than the labor at the machine shop I got no
sideways looks from my other half while adding yet another tool to my
collection.
