Thanks for the clean instructions on the balancing for us newbies. I've
been playing with a similar issue that Mike has had. I do not have colour
tune , so I did the old "lift the carb cylinder abut 1/16"th" and watch the
RPM routine. I go things set up OK ( I thought) until I put the air cleaner
cover back on - bleah....it puked. Would not hold idle, tough to start, have
to keep the gas pedal depressed. it almost feels like it is choked on air,
but that is just a "feel".
So....has anyone run across the similar issue? Pre air filter set up is
reasonable, once filter goes on ( in my case it started right after the
first cover piece got screwed onto the carb bodies) it all goes to pot? Any
ideas/thoughts are appreciated - even the wacky ones!!
As you can tell by the time stamp on the e-mail - 'tis wacky hour!!! Our 5
week old has been let's say somewhat unhappy over the last 2 hours, so this
is a very welcomed distraction from 85dB plus input I have been getting from
him....:):)
