Well, here is my 2 cents!!. Ebay is in business to hold auctions, and to
sell to the highest bidder, unfortunatly Andrew, That wasn't you this time.
My philosophy when bidding on e-bay is simple. If I feel like having a part,
and it is a difficult to find part. I bid early, check back often, and bid
high, very high. Towards the end of an auction no one knows what will
happen. Waiting to the end sometimes is a good thing, you get a better deal,
especially if the winning bid isn't high at the time. (also known as
sniping, not against e-bay policy, but not the greatest thing when you want
an item) It's a buyer's market out there. In addition, he is right on the
money on the harrassment issue, it's not very cool to attack somebody just
because you didn't get your item. I don't personalize things like that, just
adds to much stress to life, it is a far better thing to just say damn, I
didn't get my part and let it go at that, besides I am almost certain
whoever this was is not conspiring agains't keeping you from winning these
e-bay auctions. On a brighter note, just what exactly do you need for that
car I am sure someone on the list might have a spare part.
