hi,
I had to pull it the get the rough timing screw out that was broken. this
has been taken care of. I installed it to what I thought was the way it came
out but the car will not start. I check spark on the #1 wire and it was
getting it. I pulled it and reseated it thinking it may have not seated
right. it is sitting flush however. I only pulled the top part being held on
with the two timing adjustment screws. the last time I tried to fire it I
got a loud backfire. any ideas? I did not that I can turn the rotor by hand
and it will turn a little more that 180 degrees even with the distributor
installed. this sound correct? car ran fine before I pulled it to remove the
broken screw.
thx,
mike
