Mike:

It's not a relay, but a small copper switch contact attached to the turn
signal lever. If you took the turn signal assembly apart, it's possible that
you got the contact in a place it shouldn't be. There is a gap in the turn
signal assembly that the strip fits into. Make sure that it is moving back
and forth freely and not bending when you switch from hi to low beam. If it
is 'in the groove', tweak it a little in the direction it moves. Chances are
the hi beams will start working

Subject: headlight question - for my early 67 roadster

  hello everyone,

got the dash installed and I am working on hooking up the gauges. I have
been stopped due to a lack of the little clips that hold the chrome trim
ring in place. any suggestion on where to get some?

now to the real question, I do not get high beams. the regular lights come
on just fine. the column control seems to working properly but im not sure.
it actuates the turn signals and the horn will work. any ideas on what to
check? is there a relay?

thx again!

mike
