Watch out Jimmy, I beleive (no expert) that the 2.2 (Z Block?)is even taller
than the L-16. Hopefully it will still fit with Stan's kit.

I started my L series swap on June 1st and by the 4th of July weekedn should
be driving it. With Stans kit, it is as straightforward as it gets. It even
still says "DATSUN" on the valve cover. A quick glnce under the hood and you
might not even notice. At this time I installed an L16 that is .040 over and
am using SU's and elect ignition. I will be building a 2.2 over the winter
for next year.
I will be doing a writeup and taking pics for the 311s site, so look for it
there soon.
