Just got my 1600 back together and running, valves adjusted,
timing right on ( Non smog dist) . Started in on the carbs, I cannot get the
idle to
smooth out. Using the unisync gauge I cant seem to find a happy
median between the 2 carbs, either one goes all the way to the top
of the gauge or bottom. Cant seem to get them together...any suggestions.
Both carbs have been rebuilt, floats adjusted, dash pots within 1/2 in from
the top, no vacumm leaks.
