I have always been up for this!
When I had my cooling problems that kept me from Solvang, Victor emailed and
said it was a bummer I lived so far away from him else he would help me tear
the thermostat out. Thanks anyhow Victor.
I think these "tune up" parties are a great idea and will give guys like
Victor and Fergus and Paul and Jon and others a chance to share their vast
wealth of knowledge.
So now that the weather is warming up who will host the first one? I would,
but I live in an apartment complex...

It's funny you should mention that. When I met Fergus for the first time he
gave me some good advice. He said, "If you want to get some stuff done on
your car, get a cruise together, then have a barbeque at your house." He
told me everyone ends up opening hoods and looking at little stuff, before
long the tools are spread all over the place and things are getting fixed
(while the burgers cook, and the refreshments chill) It sounds like a
roc'ers version of a tupperware party. In all seriousness though, every
roc'er I've met has left me with more info than I met them with, and usually
a pretty big grin too. Matt, that tune-up party sounds like a good idea.
Something like a barbeque, once a month at different houses. Hmmm.
