Sorry -I should have said do they stop BLINKING
69 1600, I found a bad wire going into the taillights, gonna fix it after
work anyway, but the problem is: All the tailights and brakelights come on,
but I get no turn signals. the flasher was bad, I replaced that, now I hear
the flasher but nothing happens to the lights.

Depends. If you loose a bulb only one side will be affected. There is a
multiple pin connector under the dash where the rear harness plugs into
the dash harness. If that one comes loose it will affect both sides. Same
with the connector where the turn signal switch plugs into the dash
harness. There is also a connector on the early cars where the optional 4
way flasher switch plugs in. If there is not a switch there is a jumper
plugged into the connector.
What year do you have and give us more of a description of the problem ahd
how it started.
Peace,
Pat
