When filling the rad do it very slowly to allow air pockets to work their
way out. I also occassionally squeeze the lower rad hose when filling to get
rid of air pockets.

Run a few laps before getting into the car and you'll breath faster and
thusly warm up the car quicker. I saw a gizmo to plug into the cigarette
lighter that has heating elements and a fan in it. Check JC Witless they
have stuff like that.
