I can't open that page, but a 4-bbl intake manifold certainly wouldn't
be impossible. It would probably dip down like the Canon intake "arms"
for downdraft carbs on Z's (I've seen this type of adapter on a
Roadster, too).
The 4-bbl makes sense because the car has four cylinders, but the
runners would likely be much longer for the outside cylinders than the
inside, which would hinder performance.
