Marc,
I've been running one in my car for about 9 years with no problems but
others may say different. I like not having points to "play" with and
keeping the car stored doesn't help the points either. Additionally, the
quality of point sets leave much to be desired. Even my friend who works for
Standard Automotive says the same. He showed me points made in the 70s and
the new points made today and there's no comparison.
