There is a season
And a time
For every purpose, under heaven
(or something like that)
There is a need for 4WD's. There is a need for
duelies. There is a need for smoke belching turbo
deisels. And on and on. Most people that I see
however in the BMW or Lexus SUV's would no more travel
down a dirt road, much less ford a stream, than they'd
fly. The toughest duty seen by these $60,000 "trucks"
is bypassing the construction site on the way to the
mall.
Drive what you NEED. I'm a product of the depression
era, "take all you want, but eat all you take"
philosophy. We are certainly a wasteful country...
